At Love, OkiiShii, creativity, thoughtful presentation and attention to detail are central to our brand.

Our collection features carefully curated favours, original creative elements and selected products that may be personalized to complement a customer's occasion, event or business.

This policy explains how Love, OkiiShii protects its creative materials, how customer-supplied content is handled, and the rights and responsibilities associated with logos, photographs, artwork, wording and other materials used in our products.

We encourage customers to review this policy before submitting an order request involving personalization or customer-supplied creative content.

1. Love, OkiiShii Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Love, OkiiShii owns, licenses or is otherwise authorized to use the intellectual property and creative materials associated with its brand and business operations.

These may include:

  • The Love, OkiiShii business name and branding
  • Original logos and brand graphics
  • Website content and original written descriptions
  • Original product photographs and videos
  • Original graphics, illustrations and layouts
  • Original design templates and creative files
  • Original packaging artwork and presentation materials
  • Original marketing and advertising materials
  • Social-media content created by Love, OkiiShii
  • Other original creative works developed for the business

These materials may be protected by applicable copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws.

Customers and third parties may not reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially exploit intellectual property owned by Love, OkiiShii without appropriate authorization, except where permitted by applicable law.

This policy does not claim ownership of materials belonging to third-party manufacturers, suppliers, customers or other rightful owners.

General ideas, common decorative styles and themes are not automatically the exclusive intellectual property of Love, OkiiShii.

2. Product Purchases & Design Ownership

Purchasing a Love, OkiiShii favour gives the customer ownership of the purchased physical product, subject to the applicable order terms.

However, purchasing a finished product does not automatically transfer ownership of any underlying intellectual property belonging to Love, OkiiShii.

This may include:

  • Original digital design files
  • Editable artwork
  • Original graphic layouts
  • Design templates
  • Brand assets
  • Original illustrations
  • Proprietary creative files
  • Other protected design materials created or owned by Love, OkiiShii

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customers are purchasing the finished physical products rather than the underlying editable creative files.

Customers may use, display, gift or distribute the purchased physical favours for their intended personal, event or agreed business purposes.

However, purchasing a product does not automatically grant permission to commercially reproduce any original Love, OkiiShii artwork or other protected creative material incorporated into that product.

3. Product Customization & Design Availability

Not all Love, OkiiShii products are customizable.

Some favours are offered exclusively in their featured designs, while selected products may accommodate approved personalization options.

Depending on the product, available personalization may include:

  • Names or initials
  • Event dates
  • Approved wording or messages
  • Selected colour preferences
  • Decorative or packaging details
  • Business logos
  • Customer-supplied artwork
  • Other agreed creative elements

The personalization options available for an individual product will be stated in the product information or confirmed during the quotation process.

Customers should not assume that every product can be modified, redesigned or reproduced using customer-supplied artwork.

Love, OkiiShii reserves the right to decline requested modifications that are incompatible with a product's design, materials, construction or available production capabilities.

The submission of artwork or a personalization request does not guarantee acceptance.

4. Design Proofs, Drafts & Creative Files

Where design proofing forms part of an agreed personalization service, Love, OkiiShii may provide a digital proof or draft for the customer's review.

Design proofs are intended to allow customers to check applicable details before production, including:

  • Wording and spelling
  • Names and dates
  • Layout and positioning
  • Artwork placement
  • Colour direction
  • Other agreed personalized elements

Design proofs are not automatically provided for every order.

Products sold exclusively in their existing designs may not require or include design proofs.

Use of Design Proofs

Customers may share proofs with relevant event planners, colleagues or authorized representatives for the purpose of reviewing and approving their orders.

However, where a proof contains original artwork, layouts or other protected creative material owned by Love, OkiiShii, customers may not provide that material to another supplier for unauthorized commercial reproduction.

Proofs, drafts and screenshots are not automatically licensed as editable design templates or files for independent commercial use.

Where a proof incorporates customer-owned content, such as a logo or photograph, ownership of that original customer-supplied material remains with its rightful owner.

Design Approval

Where approval is required, customers are responsible for reviewing the proof carefully before authorizing production.

Approval and revision procedures are governed by our Custom Orders & Design Approval Policy.

Where design revisions form part of the agreed service, up to two reasonable revisions are normally included unless the quotation or written agreement states otherwise.

5. Customer-Supplied Logos, Photographs & Artwork

For eligible personalized products, customers may submit creative materials for use in their orders.

These may include:

  • Business or organization logos
  • Photographs
  • Illustrations
  • Original artwork
  • Names and written messages
  • Event graphics
  • Approved slogans
  • Corporate branding
  • Other written or visual content

By submitting such materials, customers confirm that they either:

  • Own the relevant content; or
  • Have obtained the necessary permission, license or authority to use the content for the requested purpose.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their supplied materials do not unlawfully infringe the rights of third parties.

Love, OkiiShii does not acquire ownership of customer-supplied content simply because it is incorporated into an order.

All customer-supplied content remains subject to the rights of its lawful owner.

6. Permission to Use Customer-Supplied Content

By submitting artwork, logos, photographs, wording or other content for an accepted order, the customer grants Love, OkiiShii permission to use that content to the extent reasonably necessary to prepare and fulfil the order.

This permission may include:

  • Reviewing the content for suitability
  • Reproducing it on an eligible product
  • Resizing or adjusting its dimensions
  • Cropping or positioning it where appropriate
  • Formatting it for printing or production
  • Incorporating it into an agreed design
  • Sharing it with necessary production or fulfilment service providers for the agreed order

Any material change that substantially alters the intended meaning, appearance or approved design will be discussed with the customer where applicable.

This permission is limited to legitimate activities associated with fulfilling the requested order.

Providing customer-owned content does not transfer intellectual property ownership to Love, OkiiShii.

Permission to use customer-supplied content for production does not automatically grant unrestricted permission to use that content in unrelated advertising or promotional campaigns.

Photographs, completed-order imagery and promotional use are addressed separately in our Photo, Reviews & Social Media Policy.

7. Copyrighted Characters, Logos & Trademarks

Love, OkiiShii respects the intellectual property rights of individuals, businesses, artists and other organizations.

We may decline requests to reproduce third-party content where appropriate authorisation has not been established.

This may include:

  • Disney or other entertainment characters
  • Barbie, Hello Kitty or similar branded characters
  • Professional sports logos
  • Luxury-brand logos
  • Celebrity photographs or likenesses
  • Copyrighted illustrations
  • Music and entertainment artwork
  • Company trademarks
  • Registered brand graphics
  • Other protected creative materials

A customer's ability to find an image online, download it or purchase a product displaying it does not necessarily mean that the image may lawfully be reproduced for another purpose.

Where appropriate, Love, OkiiShii may request evidence that the customer has permission to use the supplied material.

We may also suggest an original alternative based on the customer's preferred general theme, occasion, mood or colour palette without copying protected creative content.

Love, OkiiShii reserves the right to decline requests involving potentially unauthorized intellectual property.

8. Corporate Branding & Business Orders

Love, OkiiShii welcomes enquiries from businesses, wedding planners, event planners, organizations and other professional clients.

Corporate branding and logo personalization are available only for eligible products and are subject to approval.

Customers requesting corporate-branded favours must have appropriate authority to use any supplied:

  • Business logo
  • Trademark
  • Company name
  • Slogan
  • Promotional artwork
  • Branded photograph
  • Other protected company material

Where reasonably necessary, Love, OkiiShii may request confirmation that the customer has permission to reproduce the material.

Submitting a business logo does not guarantee that the selected product can accommodate it.

We will confirm whether the requested branding is compatible with the product before accepting the personalization arrangement.

All corporate orders remain subject to the applicable quotation, minimum order requirements, payment terms and standard processing arrangements.

9. Right to Decline Customer-Supplied Content

Love, OkiiShii reserves the right to decline or request changes to customer-supplied content where we reasonably believe that:

  • The customer may not have the legal right to use the content.
  • The requested use could infringe another party's intellectual property rights.
  • The material may violate applicable law.
  • The request may create a significant legal, privacy or reputational concern.
  • The content is unsuitable for the selected product.
  • The supplied artwork cannot reasonably be reproduced using available production methods.
  • The request falls outside the agreed customization options or production capabilities.

Where possible, we may suggest an appropriate alternative.

Declining a request does not require Love, OkiiShii to make a definitive legal determination about ownership, licensing or infringement.

We may request clarification or supporting information before proceeding with an order.

10. Customer Responsibility for Supplied Content

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions to submit creative materials for reproduction.

This responsibility includes verifying that supplied content does not unlawfully infringe another person's:

  • Copyright
  • Trademark rights
  • Privacy rights
  • Rights relating to the commercial use of their image or likeness
  • Other applicable legal rights

Where photographs of identifiable individuals are supplied, customers should ensure that they have any necessary permission to use those photographs for the intended purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law and the agreed order terms, a customer who knowingly supplies unauthorized material may be responsible for reasonable, directly resulting claims, costs or losses arising from its unauthorized use.

This provision does not apply to losses caused by Love, OkiiShii using customer content outside the agreed scope or otherwise acting unlawfully.

Customers should contact Love, OkiiShii before submitting content if they are uncertain about the permissions required.

11. Original Designs Created by Love, OkiiShii

Where Love, OkiiShii creates original artwork, graphics or other protectable creative material for a customer, ownership and permitted use will be determined by the applicable law and any written agreement between the parties.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, purchasing the finished physical product does not automatically give the customer unrestricted rights to:

  • Resell the underlying design as a digital product
  • Distribute editable design files owned by Love, OkiiShii
  • Authorize another supplier to reproduce original Love, OkiiShii artwork commercially
  • Use protected creative files as templates for commercial duplication
  • Claim authorship of creative work originally produced by Love, OkiiShii

Customers may request permission for additional uses.

Any agreed transfer, license or special permission should be documented in writing.

This section does not restrict a customer from using intellectual property they already own or have independently licensed.

12. Customer-Owned Content Remains the Customer's Property

Nothing in this policy gives Love, OkiiShii ownership of a customer's independently owned intellectual property merely because it is submitted for an order.

Customer-owned material may include:

  • Original photographs
  • Original artwork
  • Registered or unregistered trademarks
  • Business logos
  • Written content
  • Other creative material owned or lawfully controlled by the customer

The customer retains their existing rights in such material.

Similarly, the inclusion of customer-owned content within a finished favour does not automatically transfer ownership of any separate original Love, OkiiShii artwork or protected creative material to the customer.

Where an order combines customer-owned material with original work created by Love, OkiiShii, each party retains the rights it lawfully holds, subject to any applicable written agreement.

13. Photography, Portfolio & Social-Media Use

Love, OkiiShii may photograph completed products for quality-control, portfolio, website or marketing purposes, subject to our applicable policies and legal obligations.

Customers who do not want their personalized order photographed for public display or featured in promotional content should notify us in writing before production begins, where possible.

Customers may also request that their order remain private.

This may be particularly relevant for:

  • Surprise celebrations
  • Private events
  • Wedding arrangements not yet announced
  • Confidential corporate projects
  • Products containing personal photographs or names
  • Unreleased business branding

We encourage customers to communicate privacy preferences as early as possible so that appropriate arrangements can be considered.

Customer Photographs & Social-Media Tags

Tagging Love, OkiiShii in a photograph or video does not automatically transfer ownership of that content to our business.

Where appropriate, we may request permission before reposting customer-created photographs or videos.

14. Handling & Protection of Customer Information

Customer-supplied creative materials may contain personal or commercially sensitive information.

Examples include:

  • Names and event dates
  • Personal photographs
  • Business logos
  • Private event information
  • Unreleased promotional artwork
  • Other identifying or confidential details

Love, OkiiShii will handle personal information in accordance with its applicable Privacy Policy.

Customer-supplied material may be shared with relevant service providers where reasonably necessary to prepare, produce or fulfil an accepted order.

Such sharing will be limited to appropriate business purposes and applicable privacy requirements.

Customers should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information as part of an artwork submission or order request.

Questions about the handling of personal information should be directed to Love, OkiiShii through our official contact channels.

15. Requests for Additional Permissions

Customers who wish to use original Love, OkiiShii artwork, photographs, editable design files or other protected materials beyond the scope of their purchase should contact us before reproducing or distributing those materials.

Requests may include permission to:

  • Reproduce original artwork through another supplier
  • Obtain editable files
  • Use original Love, OkiiShii graphics in promotional materials
  • Reproduce an original design for commercial purposes
  • License or otherwise use protected creative material

Requests will be considered individually.

Approval is not automatic, and additional conditions or fees may apply where appropriate.

Any permission granted should be confirmed in writing before the proposed use begins.
