Our collection includes a variety of products that may contain edible items, fragrances, glass, ceramic, decorative materials, delicate components or other speciality elements.

Some products are available in their existing designs, while selected items may offer personalization options.

Because individual products have different materials, ingredients and care requirements, customers are encouraged to review all relevant product information before placing an order.

This policy provides general guidance on product safety, allergen awareness, appropriate handling, storage and customer responsibilities.

1. General Product Safety

Love, OkiiShii products should be used only for their intended purpose.

Customers and recipients should carefully review and follow any applicable:

  • Ingredient information
  • Allergen warnings
  • Manufacturer instructions
  • Care and handling guidance
  • Storage requirements
  • Best-before or expiry dates
  • Product-specific safety notices

Certain products may contain small components, delicate materials, fragrances or other features that require additional care.

Products should be kept away from young children and pets where appropriate.

Decorative favours and packaging should not be treated as toys unless expressly identified as suitable for that purpose.

Where a product includes manufacturer packaging, safety instructions or other important information, customers are encouraged to retain those materials and make them available to the intended recipients.

Customers should not use or distribute a product in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose or applicable safety instructions.

2. Edible Favours & Allergen Information

Selected Love, OkiiShii favours may contain edible products, including commercially manufactured food items or ingredients obtained from third-party suppliers.

Customers should carefully review all available ingredient and allergen information before placing an order or distributing edible products to guests.

Depending on the selected product, its ingredients and the supplier's manufacturing or handling procedures, edible items may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including:

  • Peanuts
  • Tree nuts
  • Milk and dairy products
  • Soy
  • Wheat and gluten-containing ingredients
  • Eggs
  • Sesame
  • Other allergens identified by the manufacturer or supplier

For example, Jordan almonds contain nuts and are not suitable for individuals with a relevant nut allergy.

Customers with known allergies, dietary restrictions or ingredient concerns should contact Love, OkiiShii before confirming their order.

Where available, we will provide or refer customers to relevant ingredient and allergen information supplied by the manufacturer.

However, unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing for a particular product, Love, OkiiShii cannot guarantee that a product is allergen-free or has been prepared, manufactured or handled in an allergen-free environment.

Customers should not assume that the absence of an allergen warning guarantees that a product is suitable for someone with an allergy.

If there is uncertainty about a product's ingredients or potential allergen exposure, the product should not be served to an individual with a relevant allergy.

3. Responsibility for Event Guests

Customers purchasing edible favours for weddings, parties, corporate events or other celebrations are responsible for considering the dietary requirements and potential allergies of their intended recipients.

Where ingredient lists, allergen notices or manufacturer information are provided, customers should retain this information and make it reasonably accessible to guests.

Customers are encouraged to:

  • Identify known dietary restrictions before selecting edible favours.
  • Request available ingredient information before confirming an order.
  • Avoid distributing products to guests whose allergies may be affected by the ingredients.
  • Keep relevant manufacturer packaging or ingredient information where practical.
  • Communicate important storage and handling instructions to recipients.

Love, OkiiShii cannot independently verify the medical suitability of a product for every event guest.

If a customer is uncertain whether an edible favour is suitable for an individual with a food allergy, the product should not be given to that individual.

4. Food Storage & Handling

Edible products should be stored, transported and consumed according to the applicable manufacturer instructions and any product-specific guidance supplied by Love, OkiiShii.

Customers should pay particular attention to:

  • Recommended storage temperatures
  • Best-before or expiry dates
  • Refrigeration requirements, where applicable
  • Protection from moisture
  • Exposure to direct sunlight
  • Suitable packaging and handling conditions
  • Prevention of contamination

Edible products should not be left in hot vehicles, direct sunlight, near heat sources or in other unsuitable environments.

Food products that require specific temperature conditions must be handled accordingly.

Customers should also avoid consuming or distributing products that appear spoiled, contaminated, damaged or otherwise unsafe.

Storage After Courier Collection

Once a parcel has been collected from Knutsford Express, the customer is responsible for transporting and storing the products appropriately.

Customers should collect edible favours promptly and avoid unnecessary exposure to heat, humidity or unsuitable conditions.

Love, OkiiShii is not responsible for deterioration caused solely by improper customer storage or handling after collection.

This does not limit a customer's rights concerning defective, incorrectly supplied or otherwise non-conforming products under applicable law.

5. Fragrance Products & Incense Safety

Selected Love, OkiiShii products may include fragrance-related items, incense accessories, incense sticks or refillable fragrance containers.

Fragrance preferences and sensitivities vary between individuals.

The perceived strength, composition or characteristics of a fragrance may differ depending on:

  • The product
  • The fragrance type
  • The manufacturer or supplier
  • The production batch
  • Storage conditions
  • The surrounding environment

Customers with known fragrance sensitivities, respiratory concerns or ingredient allergies should request available product information before placing an order.

Incense & Burning Products

Where a favour includes incense sticks or other products intended to be burned, customers and recipients should follow all manufacturer instructions and applicable fire-safety precautions.

As general guidance:

  • Never leave burning incense unattended.
  • Keep burning products away from children and pets.
  • Place incense holders on stable, appropriate, heat-resistant surfaces.
  • Keep burning incense away from curtains, fabrics, paper, ribbons and other flammable materials.
  • Use incense only in suitably ventilated environments.
  • Avoid direct inhalation of smoke.
  • Ensure burning materials are completely extinguished before leaving the area.
  • Handle remaining ash and heated components carefully.

Individuals who are sensitive to smoke or fragrances should avoid exposure where appropriate.

Decorative packaging, ribbons and embellishments must be removed or kept safely away from heat and burning materials before use.

Product-specific manufacturer instructions should always be followed.

6. Personal-Care & Refillable Fragrance Products

Where Love, OkiiShii offers products intended for personal use, customers should follow the directions applicable to the specific item.

Selected products may include refillable perfume containers, fragrance accessories or other approved personal-care-related favours.

A refillable container does not necessarily include perfume or another fragrance product unless this is expressly stated in the product description or confirmed in the quotation.

Customers should not assume that an empty or refillable container is suitable for every liquid, formulation or intended use.

Where a product contains a cosmetic or topical preparation, customers should:

  • Review any available ingredient information.
  • Follow the manufacturer's directions.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes unless the product is specifically intended for that area.
  • Avoid swallowing products labelled for external use.
  • Consider a patch test before wider use where appropriate.
  • Discontinue use if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs.

Individuals experiencing an allergic reaction or other concerning symptoms should seek appropriate medical advice.

Love, OkiiShii does not represent that its products diagnose, treat, cure or prevent medical conditions unless such claims are lawfully authorised and expressly stated for the relevant product.

7. Glass, Ceramic & Breakable Components

Some Love, OkiiShii favours may incorporate glass, ceramic or other fragile materials.

These items should be handled carefully to reduce the risk of breakage, leakage, injury or damage.

Customers should protect fragile products from:

  • Drops and impacts
  • Crushing or excessive pressure
  • Improper stacking
  • Extreme temperature changes
  • Unsafe transportation conditions
  • Other handling circumstances that could cause damage

Glass and ceramic components should be inspected before use.

Do not use a container that is cracked, chipped, broken or otherwise visibly damaged in a manner that could create a safety concern.

Broken glass, sharp edges and damaged ceramic components should be handled and disposed of carefully.

Customers are encouraged to keep fragile favours in suitable protective packaging until they are ready to be displayed or distributed.

8. Small Parts & Decorative Elements

Some Love, OkiiShii products may contain decorative elements or detachable components, including:

  • Ribbons and bows
  • Beads and pearls
  • Small charms
  • Decorative embellishments
  • Labels and packaging accessories
  • Small containers or closures
  • Other decorative components

These items may present choking, entanglement or handling hazards, particularly for babies and young children.

Unless a product is specifically identified as suitable for children, adult supervision is recommended when favours containing small or detachable parts are displayed or distributed around young children.

Decorative packaging and embellishments are not intended to be consumed.

Customers should take appropriate precautions when giving products to children or individuals who may be vulnerable to small-part hazards.

9. Decorative Finishes & Packaging

Many Love, OkiiShii favours feature carefully selected decorative materials designed to enhance their appearance and presentation.

Depending on the product, these may include ribbons, lace, flowers, labels, paper accents, pearls, bows or other decorative finishes.

Unless expressly identified as part of the usable or edible product, these components are intended for presentation purposes only.

Customers and recipients should remove any packaging or decorative elements that are not intended for consumption or direct product use before using or consuming the enclosed item.

Decorative components should be kept away from:

  • Open flames and heated surfaces
  • Excessive moisture
  • Direct sunlight where fading or deterioration may occur
  • Food-contact surfaces where the material is not suitable for that purpose
  • Situations where small or detachable parts may create a safety risk

Because some favours are assembled or finished by hand, minor differences in ribbon placement, bow formation, decorative spacing or presentation may occur.

Reasonable handmade variations are not automatically considered defects where the product remains consistent with the agreed description or approved design.

However, material defects, missing items or significant differences from the agreed order may be reported for review.

10. Manufacturer & Supplier Information

Love, OkiiShii may incorporate commercially manufactured goods, ingredients, containers, accessories or other components obtained from third-party suppliers.

Where applicable, manufacturer-provided information may include:

  • Ingredient lists
  • Allergen warnings
  • Best-before or expiry dates
  • Product usage instructions
  • Storage recommendations
  • Safety precautions
  • Material specifications

Love, OkiiShii will make reasonable efforts not to alter or misrepresent relevant manufacturer-provided safety or ingredient information.

Customers should follow the applicable instructions provided by the original manufacturer, together with any appropriate product-specific information communicated by Love, OkiiShii.

Where product information is unavailable or insufficient to address a particular concern, customers should contact us before confirming an order.

11. Customer-Supplied Products & Materials

Where Love, OkiiShii expressly agrees to incorporate materials or products supplied by a customer, the customer is responsible for ensuring that those materials are lawful, suitable and safe for their intended use.

Customer-supplied materials may include approved packaging, decorative components, artwork-related materials or other items agreed upon during the quotation process.

Love, OkiiShii reserves the right to decline materials that we reasonably believe may create:

  • Safety concerns
  • Contamination risks
  • Quality issues
  • Production difficulties
  • Compatibility problems
  • Other reasonable concerns affecting the finished order

Acceptance of customer-supplied materials is not automatic and must be confirmed before they are incorporated into an order.

12. Courier Shipping & Product Suitability

Love, OkiiShii currently provides free standard shipping through Knutsford Express Courier Services for accepted, eligible orders sent to supported courier collection locations within Jamaica.

We do not offer direct customer pickup from Love, OkiiShii, home delivery or international shipping.

Not every product is necessarily suitable for courier transportation.

Certain edible, perishable, liquid, fragrance-related, fragile or temperature-sensitive items may be subject to the courier's packaging requirements, handling limitations or shipping restrictions.

An order will only be accepted for Knutsford Express delivery where its contents can be accommodated under the applicable courier requirements.

Where a requested product cannot reasonably be shipped through the available courier service, Love, OkiiShii will advise the customer before accepting the order.

Processing & Transportation Time

Our standard estimated processing period is 7–14 calendar days, including weekends.

This period covers order preparation and completion before courier dispatch.

Knutsford Express transportation time is separate from our processing period.

Customers should allow sufficient time for both processing and courier delivery when ordering products for a specific event date.

We do not offer rush production or expedited delivery.

Love, OkiiShii covers the standard eligible courier shipping charge. Any additional collection, storage, redirection or other applicable courier charges remain the customer's responsibility.

13. Parcel Collection & Initial Inspection

Customers are encouraged to collect their parcels promptly once Knutsford Express confirms that they are available at the agreed collection location.

Where practical, customers should inspect the visible condition of the parcel and its contents as soon as possible.

This includes checking for:

  • Visible breakage
  • Significant leakage
  • Incorrect quantities
  • Missing products
  • Damaged packaging
  • Incorrect personalisation, where applicable
  • Other readily apparent concerns

If a parcel appears damaged upon collection, customers should document the condition, retain relevant packaging where possible and notify Knutsford Express and Love, OkiiShii promptly.

Visible damage, shortages or incorrect personalization should be reported to Love, OkiiShii within 48 hours of collecting the parcel, where reasonably possible.

Customers should provide their order reference and clear photographs or videos to assist with the review.

This reporting guidance does not remove any rights available under applicable consumer protection laws.

Concerns will be assessed in accordance with our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy and, where relevant, our Shipping Policy.

14. Customer Responsibilities After Collection

Once an order has been collected from Knutsford Express, the customer is responsible for taking reasonable care of the products during transportation, storage, handling and distribution.

This includes:

  • Protecting fragile items from breakage
  • Maintaining suitable temperatures where required
  • Avoiding excessive heat and direct sunlight
  • Preventing crushing, spilling or contamination
  • Storing products in appropriate conditions
  • Following any applicable ingredient, care or safety instructions
  • Distributing products before relevant expiry or recommended-use dates

Customers should avoid leaving delicate or temperature-sensitive favours uncollected for extended periods.

Delayed collection may affect product condition and could result in additional storage or collection-related charges imposed by the courier.

Love, OkiiShii is not responsible for damage or deterioration caused solely by improper customer handling or storage after collection.

However, this does not exclude responsibility for defects, incorrect items, production errors or other concerns for which Love, OkiiShii may remain responsible under its policies or applicable law.

15. Product-Specific Instructions

This policy provides general safety and handling guidance for the types of products Love, OkiiShii may offer.

Individual products may require additional or different care depending on their materials, ingredients, construction or intended use.

Where a product includes more specific manufacturer instructions, ingredient information, safety guidance or care requirements, customers should follow those instructions as applicable.

Product-specific safety and handling instructions should be followed in preference to general guidance where they provide more relevant information for the particular item.

Customers should not use any product in a manner inconsistent with applicable safety warnings or its intended purpose.
